So, last weekend we scored a trip to the hunter, courtesy of some great friends via our wedding gift :)
We stayed at Pepper's...
A cool change came through which we watched from a nearby lookout before running back to the car to stay dry
We found time to drop in on Wyndam Estate to grab some of their awesome port... (and a few other drops!)
We took the scenic route home via Wollembi, stopping for coffee and some sun...
Then by a dodgy dirt road we found a great pub for lunch in St Alban's, just north of Wiseman's Ferry. I never knew the town even existed but had looked down at the area a heap from work wondering what was down there... I'm glad to have discovered this joint though - lovely!
We finally made it to the Webb Creek Ferry to go feet dry on the Sydney Basin at Wiseman's...
What a great trip! A big thanks to those who made it possible!
