Well, that was painful, over new years I clocked up a year without skiing! BUT, just when I thought I was doomed to another 5 months of praying for some aussie snow - a ski trip offer! Jase is heading to Niseko with a few others and if I can jag the time off...
So, things are looking up! if this all falls into place, I better get busy and mount up my new toys on the right ------------------------------------>
...my new tele bindings, 22designs' new Axl. These were bought mostly for this years oz backcountry ski tours, but I'd be more than happy to give em a run in some Japow before then!
In the meantime, I'm happily filling in my time by studying for sim sessions and hoping to get called out to work - I mean climbing and surfing! Haven't been in the water this week, but I've managed to get out on the rock a few times, which has been great! This week, Maria & I have hit up Medlow Bath, Mt York & this morning, Barrenjoey, where I led up the epicly strenuous 'Hang Over' (9! oooh yeah! ;) )& 'Carrie Bradshaw'.
