Well, the weather has come good here in Chamonix so we organised a guide for a day on the Mer de Glacé for some mountain safety - using crampons, axe and crevasse rescue techniques.. We managed to squeeze in a little ice climbing too :)
We shared the guide with two Brits that wanted the same thing which helped with the costs but there is still a ton of gear to buy...

After a great day on the ice we headed back to town and back up the ladders in the blazing sun. Can't wait to tie in again on ice!
